Banjul, The Gambia Government will be unveiling the Presidential Task Force Report on the inquiry into the Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) outbreak that regrettably, led to the death of Gambian children in the summer of 2022.
The press briefing will be led by the Health Minister, Dr Ahmadou Lamin Samateh at the Ministry’s conference hall at the Quadrangle in Banjul.
To be chaired by the Government Spokesperson, Mr Ebrima G Sankareh, the press briefing will be graced by Cabinet Ministers, Gambia Government officials and victims’ families.
Journalists covering the event are expected to be seated at least half-an-hour before the commencement.
The AKI report unveiling is scheduled to commence exactly at 3:00pm GMT on Friday, 21st July, 2023.
