The first Deputy party leader of Alliance for Patriotic Re-orientation and Construction (APRC), Mr. Ousman Rambo Jatta and senior members of the National Executive, are now faced with fears that the once most powerful party will ‘die a natural death” as predicted by Mr. Ousainou Darboe, the leader of the United Democratic Party (UDP).

An audio sent to the Trumpet Newspaper recorded earlier this month during a meeting with their party members, Rambo revealed the fears of the National Executive Committee, who are been frustrated and castigated by what he call APRC social media warriors and diaspora members.

Rambo said, “Ousainou Darboe once stood at a platform and said APRC will die a natural death. That is starting now, since we have started hitting each other’s head as auntie Mberry said it”.

In an upset and shaky voice, Rambo lamented that there were people among them who were fighting against Yahya Jammeh in 2016 until Jammeh left and now the same people parading themselves as lovers of APRC and Jammeh.

A nervous Rambo didn’t hide his bitterness when he address the meeting, “ there will be no entertaining words today,  because there are hypocrites among us who are informants of the people outside and dealing with diaspora by giving them false information which is detrimental to the party”.

Jatta accused some youths of behind the rumours and false information about the party and its executives.

“Since we are the head of the party, we only listen to Yahya Jammeh so you people should listen to us as the national executives”, said Rambo

Mr. Jatta attacked the APRC social media audio makers accusing them of causing confusion and problem within the party. “But no one can shake us, from the national executive members, from the party leader to the last man we are all experienced politicians, Rambo challenged his opponents.
